1. What is cultured Marble?

Ans. an inexpensive alternative to a granite or quartz counter top. The price is as low or lower than laminate, yet Cultured Marblelooks superior to laminate, ----- more like marble than laminate. Cultured Marble is available in more than 200 colors. A variety of colors are veined like marble. The counter top is made from a mixture of fiberglass resin and crushed limestone. It is formed in an open mold and coated with a clear gel coat. The counter top is tough durable non-porous and stain resistant. It is waterproof. Sink bowls can be cast in the mold and be a continuous part or the counter top or porcelain bowls can be attached separately.
